Wheelchair Battery Replacement Guide: Recharge Your Wheelchair!

If your wheelchair battery has been used for a while and starts to run low or cannot be fully charged, it may be time to replace it with a new one. Follow these steps to recharge your wheelchair!

Material list:
New wheelchair battery (make sure to buy a model that matches your existing battery)
wrench
Rubber gloves (for safety)
cleaning cloth
Step 1: Preparation
Make sure your wheelchair is closed and parked on flat ground. Remember to wear rubber gloves to stay safe.

Step 2: Remove the old battery
Locate the battery installation location on the wheelchair. Typically, the battery is installed under the base of the wheelchair.
Using a wrench, gently loosen the battery retaining screw. Note: Do not forcefully twist the battery to avoid damaging the wheelchair structure or the battery itself.
Carefully unplug the cable from the battery. Make sure to note where each cable is connected so you can easily connect it when you install the new battery.
Step 3: Install new battery
Gently place the new battery onto the base, making sure it is aligned with the wheelchair's mounting brackets.
Connect the cables you unplugged earlier. Carefully plug back the corresponding cables according to the recorded connection locations.
Make sure the battery is installed securely, then use a wrench to tighten the battery retaining screws.
Step 4: Test the battery
After ensuring that the battery has been installed and tightened correctly, turn on the power switch of the wheelchair and check whether the battery is working properly. If everything is working properly, the wheelchair should start and run normally.
